Studio Hassnain
Studio Hassnain is an open-access printmaking facility: a platform where students and artists come to use the presses. Hassnain Awais runs it and documents everything around it — work coming off the press, artist features, residencies, studio visits and exhibition openings. We took over strategy and publishing, shaping that footage into a feed that consistently reaches far beyond its own following.

What was broken
The account has two jobs at once: showcase the studio's own output, and cover the wider art scene around it. Lean too far either way and it stops being a reason to follow.
Problem solved
A working studio producing constant, genuinely interesting footage — and almost none of it travelling past the people who already knew the place existed.
How we approached it
Make the feed a window on the scene rather than a shop window. Studio process where it's most watchable, artist and residency features that pull in audiences from adjacent circles, and exhibition coverage published while people still care.
From brief to launch
Format & direction
Worked out which material actually carries — the carve, the ink roll, the print reveal, an artist talking about their own work — and briefed Hassnain on capturing it so the footage cuts together.
Edit & publish
He shoots at the studio and around the scene; we cut, pace and caption every post, then publish on a consistent schedule with hashtags researched per piece.
Community
Replies, DMs and active engagement with the wider printmaking, gallery and residency community — the unglamorous half that turns a view into a follow.
Why the reels work
The craft is the hook. No graphics, no gimmicks — just the most watchable seconds of a physical process, cut so the payoff lands before anyone thinks about scrolling.
The publishing engine
A repeatable pipeline rather than one-off posts: Hassnain captures raw footage, we edit to a house format, write the caption and hashtags, schedule it, and work the comments once it lands. Reels carry 46.7% of views, with posts and stories making up the rest.

The reels that carried it
